Mobile (Android & iOS)
BACKGROUND
Andiam is a WEB3 social media platform that spreads knowledge through short-form videos. The Andiam Team has decided to go in the direction of a mobile app as its primary channel to reach potential users. The application will allow customers to interact with and refresh the Edutainment (Education + Entertainment) experience through their smartphones.
I managed the product design (UX & UI) team and collaborated with the tech team to develop this short-form video platform in a sprint development process
Challenge
One of the challenges of this project was getting all stakeholders to agree on a feasible timeline for the app, including all the essential features. The project founders aimed to pitch to venture capitalists with the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for fundraising
Create an MVP with core features up and running within 3 months
After rounds of collaborative discussions, we crafted and fine-tuned the framework and details for the core features that constitute the backbone of this project. The team began with text documents, wireframes, and workflows as the essential formats for all teams to communicate effectively. This ensured a unified understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for all teams over the next three months
Core Features in hi-fi mockups
Account Creation
We have enhanced the entire flow to streamline the process. Minimize the steps as much as possible to enhance the user experience while using the app. As the app is a hybrid of centralized and decentralized platforms, we prioritize the privacy of our users.
Recording Video / Taking Photo
We have included an essential control for video recording or photo-taking in the MVP version. Alternatively, users can simply upload their edited media from their phones

The client was seeking advice about the style of the mobile application. They wanted to present the idea of an enjoyable and bite-sized learning experience to the market. Believing that improvement can be done daily in manageable factions of time. The font and graphic can go as a pair to present those as the DNA of Andiam. Style Guide played a key role in the process to ensure that every team member could align with and contribute to the cohesive look and feel of the Andiam mobile application.
ROC GROTESK
Be understanding
Understanding the job context and personal background of the client is essential for effective communication. I can empathize, particularly from a UX perspective, enabling me to comprehend the challenges or objectives the client faces throughout the project.
When dealing with clients who may lack experience in product development, taking the time to engage in meaningful verbal conversations, rather than relying on text or email, is a crucial step. It allows us to delve into the client’s thoughts, revealing their motivations and intentions.
