BACKGROUND
A journey of self-learning
Neutron was my personal side project that helped me understand and expand my knowledge about crypto and business strategy in DeFi (Decentralized Finance). It was one of the best ways to catch up with the latest trends in crypto back in 2020. I intended to create a simplified DeFi application that could lower the learning curve for crypto beginners.
DeFi loan provider
Neutron is a concept of a crypto loan provider built with blockchain technology. Users can borrow or deposit their crypto assets on the platform, and it offers a reasonable APY to those who make deposits or provide collateral on their tokens to borrow other crypto assets. Neutron aims to simplify all complex crypto and finance terminology to make it more accessible to everyone.
Overview of the current market
The home page gives users a brief idea of the current market by providing a quick look at the top crypto assets. The search and filter options come in handy when users are looking for a specific crypto asset.
Crypto Asset details
Each token has its portfolio, which includes interest rate, reserve size, available liquidity, and total borrowed. All the information maintains high transparency to the public. The platform also supports various types of hot and cold wallets to make it accessible to users.
Switch Interest Rate
The platform offers an instant switch in interest rates built on blockchain technology. All records are tracked on the blockchain system.
Lighting loan
Users can quickly borrow crypto through the system, as long as they meet the required conditions, such as maintaining sufficient collateral on the platform and the Health factor indicator shown in good condition.
