Dynamic Sketching Class

Building Form & Structure

Dynamic Sketching Class

Building Form & Structure
Class Overview

Master the Art of Dynamic Sketching

Many artists can copy an outline, but their sketches still feel "flat." The secret isn't better lines—it’s understanding form and structure.

This dynamic sketching class focuses on helping you understand how objects exist in three-dimensional space. You’ll learn how to break down complex objects into simple forms and use them to build confident, dimensional sketches.

Through guided exercises and demonstrations, you’ll learn how to see and simplify visual information so you always know where to start with even facing an complicated object. This class emphasizes observation, structure, and clarity rather than speed or style.

No pressure, no shortcuts — just a solid foundation you can apply to any drawing.

Who This Class Is For

This class is designed for:

  • Beginners who want to build a strong drawing foundation

  • Self-taught artists feeling stuck with flat drawings

  • Anyone interested in improving freehand sketching skills

  • Designers or creatives exploring product or object sketching

No prior experience is required. All skill levels are welcome.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of the class, you will be able to:

  • Understand basic form, volume, and structure

  • Draw objects that feel solid and three-dimensional

  • Analyze visual problems instead of copying outlines

These skills are transferable to observational drawing, design sketching, and everyday visual thinking.
